In this painting I wanted to enhance the colors and give some structure to the brush stroke. The background reminds the ice and cold days during the Monte Carlo Rally. I emphasize with turquoise tones the sets of fog lights and confere a unique power to this front view of the car.

I saw this car in person some years ago in the Porsche Museum, was a special exhibition featuring Walter Röhrl and the most remarkable cars in his career as a race driver. Never had the chance to see this Audi racing, and it became a mythical piece to me, something so far away and so unreachable.

An excellent piece of art for any Audi Quattro, rally enthusiast, art collector or fan of the brand.
